Technion graduate of the dual degree program on behalf of the Industrial Engineering faculty (2011-2016). In parallel to academic research, I’ve been holding several data-related positions in companies since 2015.

Research Topic: Named Entity Representation and Applications Adapted to Social Media.

We aim at exploring data published on social media with the purpose of inferring its author’s entity type. Since all entities (users) are explicitly listed, we do not need to recognize them in mentions (NER) but rather conduct a reliable linkage of each user to a knowledge base. Our work differs from the prevailing approach not only by domain of social media but also by its potential to use highly accurate and flexible labels as a result of performing entity linking with full certainty to multiple knowledge bases.
